– The Kansas City Star
Bread and Butter Concepts is moving its headquarters to the East Crossroads.
The company, currently at 1201 W. 47th St. in the West Plaza, is taking an 18,000-square-foot building at 1720 Cherry St. for its offices, an event space and an expanded space for Missing Ingredient, an urban farm.
The 8,000-square-foot event space, which will be called Celebration, will have a kitchen and bar. The decor will be a mix of “industrial and refined elements” by Realm Architecture & Design. It is already booking for fall events.
Its kitchen also will serve as a test kitchen for Bread & Butter’s restaurants: BRGR Kitchen + Bar, Gram & Dun, República, Taco Republic and Urban Table.
