Bread & Butter Concepts is proud to be supporting the Kansas City CARE Clinic by donating a portion of the catering for its main fundraising event of the year, Bloom Party, for the second year in a row.
The Bloom Party is the largest fundraising event for the Kansas City CARE Clinic and provides vital unrestricted funds to the Clinic’s operating budget. The Clinic is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to promote health and wellness by providing Care, Access, Research and Education to the underserved and all people in the community. The success of the event helps to ensure health care access to thousands of Kansas Citians every day.
“It’s an honor to be able to support such an incredible, local organization that cares about the well being of those in need of healthcare in the Kansas City community,” said Alan Gaylin, CEO & founder of Bread & Butter Concepts.
Alan along with George Astangbe, director of culinary for Bread & Butter Concepts, carefully crafted the custom menu to integrate into the Fleet Week theme for the event. Together they conceptualized five distinctive food stations based off of different naval ports throughout the country including Pearl Harbor and the Port of Annapolis. Each station’s menu will be reflective of the cuisine from the respective areas including items like Char Sui BBQ Ribs and Crab Balls of Fire. The only menu item that was not designed specifically for this event is the Blackened Shrimp & Grits from Gram & Dun that will be included at the Port of Charleston station.
