Congratulations to Nathan Nichols, Executive Chef at Gram & Dun, for being named the Gilbert Robinson “Rising Star of the Year” by the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association! Each year in October, the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association honors the past, present and future of restaurant industry leadership at the Gilbert Robinson Leadership and Awards Dinner. Award winners are nominated by employers and peers for their outstanding service in hospitality, cuisine and management.
Chef Nathan has been with Gram & Dun since it opened in 2011. His dedication to precision and innovation shine through in his daily specials and menu creations. His passion for perfection on the plate and the palate has proven to be a driving force in the success of Gram & Dun. One of Chef Nathan’s recent endeavors has been working on private dinners in The Boar Room at Gram & Dun. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience allows him to work directly with guests to develop a custom menu for their group. He is also working on several new seasonal menu items that will debut on the menu later this fall.
