How long have you worked for Bread & Butter Concepts?
Three years this September.
What is your favorite concept?
I’m biased since I work there but I’d say Urban Table. If I’m feeling fancy, Stock Hill for sure. It’s beyond beautiful.
What was your first service industry job?
Applebee's, when I was 16. I’m thankful I worked there though because I was able to do front of house and back of house positions so I learned a lot over those years.
If you could serve anyone at Urban Table who would it be?
I’m going to say Eric Hosmer or Salvador Perez. We’ve had Alex Gordon in for lunch before so I need Hoz and Salvy to come in to make my Royals’ dreams complete.
What’s your favorite dish at Urban Table?
I’m so basic but the Chicken Salad Sandwich. When I was pregnant recently I swear I ate it every day.
What are some of your favorite places to eat in Kansas City?
Is it sucking up if I say the Bread & Butter restaurants? But seriously, I love them all! Other than those I like small places in Westport like Beer Kitchen – it’s one of my favorites!
Who inspires you the most?
I’m going to have to say my grandma. She’s currently going through chemo. She’s always been a huge part of my life and has bent over backwards to help me. She’s an amazing woman and a true fighter – she inspires me everyday.
What’s your favorite part about working at Urban Table?
The company. I also love my regulars that come into that place. They are the sweetest people. They know my fiancé and I since we both work for Bread & Butter Concepts and they keep up with my life - I just adore them.
