What is your role at Taco Republic? I am a server at Taco Republic as well as the Taco Republic Truck!

Favorite part of your job? I really enjoy meeting new people, but I have to say that working with the people I work with is the best part of my job. I love how we all get along, make each other laugh and we just have a great time, of course without neglecting our work and duties.

How long have you been with us at Bread & Butter Concepts? I’ve been with Bread & Butter Concepts for a little over 2 years now.

Where are you from originally? I am from a very small city in Mexico called Zacatecas. It kind of looks like KC, but with a lot of hills.

What’s your favorite Kansas City activity to do? If going to the club counts as a KC activity, then that’s my favorite one.

What your go-to item at Taco Republic? Wood-Fired Chicken. Yum!

Describe yourself in 6 words. Fun. Friendly. Outgoing. Silly. Fierce. Party.

If you could have lunch with anyone, living or passed, who would it be? I would pick Nefertiti. I’ve always been curious about why and how the pyramids were built. Oh, and also because I want to see what she really looked like, I guess she was beautiful!

What’s the best memory or story you have at Bread & Butter Concepts? The best memory I have at Bread & Butter is two years ago on my birthday. I didn’t tell anyone that it was my birthday so I was pretty down all day. At the end of the day we were all unloading the truck at Gram & Dun, and one of the managers at the time, Nicole, did a quick meeting. After it was over, one of the pastry chefs from Gram & Dun came out with a little cake for me. I guess Nicole didn’t forget about my birthday and had the cake made for me. It was so nice of her and I almost cried, it was awesome! Shout out to Nicole, hey girl hey!
